The latest update
for Fortnite brings an exciting array of new content, including Godzilla as an on-map boss
and Hatsune Miku
with the Fortnite Festival Music Pass. Whether you're a Battle Royale enthusiast or a fan of Miku, there's something
for everyone in this update.
The Fortnite Festival Music Pass for Season 7 introduces a ton of Miku-themed cosmetics, and as players eagerly anticipate the Godzilla secret skin, the excitement around this update is building. Although Epic Games hasn't been very clear about all the new features following the recent update, the community's leakers have stepped in, revealing some of the upcoming content. Here’s a quick rundown of what’s included in the 33.20 update, based on the patch notes and Trello board information.
Fortnite Patch Notes for 33.20 – Bug Fixes
While Epic Games doesn't always release comprehensive patch notes, the community Trello board sheds light on bug fixes being addressed in the current update. Below are the fixes that are part of the 33.20 patch:
Battle Royale / Reload / OG
Incorrect Duel Rewards from Daigo: After defeating Daigo in a Duel, players were receiving incorrect rewards, like a Common Holo Twister Assault Rifle or some wood. This issue has been fixed.
‘Toggle Walk’ Mode Bug: Occasionally, players would get stuck in the ‘Toggle Walk’ mode, affecting movement during running or swimming. Sprinting was unaffected. To resolve this, unbind the 'Force Walk (Toggle)' and 'Force Walk (Hold)' buttons as a temporary workaround.
Ranked Quests Not Progressing: Ranked Quests in Ranked Reload were not progressing as intended. This bug has now been fixed.

Flex Gadget Bug: If players joined mid-game after the
Buy Phase, they might not receive the Flex Gadget. A workaround is available: select the Flex Gadget during the
Buy Phase and leave to still get it upon rejoining.
Lego Fortnite
Item Spawner and Free Crafting Settings Warning: A warning about changes not appearing when activating Item Spawner and Free Crafting settings has been fixed. These settings are temporarily disabled to prevent quests from being permanently disabled in the affected worlds.
Furniture Placement Bug in Bricklife: Players had trouble placing furniture or decor in Houses or Lots, as the Build Menu wouldn’t appear. Rejoining the session should resolve the issue.
Legendary Forge Unlock Issue: The Legendary Forge recipe wasn't unlocking for some players. A temporary workaround involves drop
ping and picking up an Epic rarity item from your weapon inventory.
Rocket Racing
Vehicle Scrolling Bug: Players couldn't scroll through and view other vehicles before the race started, whether using a keyboard or controller. This bug is under investigation.
Fortnite Festival
Lobby Control Bug:In multiplayer lobbies, players trying to take control as Player 2, 3, or 4 would encounter a black screen, preventing them from changing settings or locker
items. A workaround is to hold the Start button as Player 1 to regain control.
Jam Track Preview Bug: When players selected a Jam Track in Backstage and quickly closed the Music Library, the preview continued playing. To fix this, open the Music Library and wait for the preview to load before closing it.
Mobile HUD Bug:Some mobile players were unable to ready up while in Backstage, as the ‘Choose a Song’ HUD would appear instead of the ready-up option.
With these fixes in place, players can enjoy the latest content more smoothly, from new music to epic battles on the island. Keep an eye out for further updates and leaks as the community continues to uncover new features.
